The Township Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Franklin Township.
The administrator:
- Coordinates and supervises the duties and financial operation of all departments, boards and township employees
- Ensures that township policies are carried out
- Handles any complaints, concerns, and suggestions, and makes sure they are addressed
- Negotiates contracts for the township, subject to Township Committee review and approval
- Reviews township policies and recommends changes to the Township Committee as necessary
- Serves as the township’s liaison to the school districts
- Serves as the township’s personnel/human relations officer
