Township Administrator

The Township Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Franklin Township.

The administrator:

  • Coordinates and supervises the duties and financial operation of all departments, boards and township employees
  • Ensures that township policies are carried out
  • Handles any complaints, concerns, and suggestions, and makes sure they are addressed
  • Negotiates contracts for the township, subject to Township Committee review and approval
  • Reviews township policies and recommends changes to the Township Committee as necessary
  • Serves as the township’s liaison to the school districts
  • Serves as the township’s personnel/human relations officer
