The Friends of the Franklin Township Library Spring Book Sale
Saturday, April 6
8:00 AM. to 6:00 PM
Come join us for another fantastic Friends’ book sale as we kick off National Library Week! Hundreds of curated, gently used books, audiobooks, DVDs, and CDs available at rock bottom prices!

Teen Graphic Novel Discussion Group
Tuesday, April 9
4:00 PM Come join our new Teen Graphic Novel Group! We will read two graphic/manga novels each month. Our first selection is Captain Marvel, Volume 1: Higher, Further, Faster, More. Our second selection is Sailor Moon, Volume 1. The character Sailor Moon was a role model for Brie Larson, the actress who played Captain Marvel in the movie. Join us as we discuss both heroines. Open to grades 7 to 12. Telephone registration required.

Peter Rabbit in the Garden 
Thursday, April 18
1:00 PM Come hear the story of Peter Rabbit, make a craft, and plant some seeds in the garden! Hosted by the Country Garden Club and Lorraine Kiefer of Triple Oaks Nursery. Open to children between the ages of 3 and 8 with a caregiver. Telephone registration required.

Dungeons and Dragons
Wednesday, April 24 
5:00 to 8:00 PM This month the players will be traversing the mines of Wave Echo Cave and finally facing off the Black Spider. Get your swords, arrows, and magic ready, this will be an adventure! Recommended for beginners. Open to grades 6 to 12. Telephone registration required.

Crafternoon 
Thursday, April 25
3:00 PM  Join us for the “Craft that Rocks!” This month, come have some fun and paint a stone for your garden. All materials will be supplied. Open to adults only. Registration begins on April 1st. Seating is limited. Please call the library to register.

9:30 AM Monthly meeting. New members are always welcome. Stop by to learn how you can support your library.

STEAM Activity: Composting
Saturday, April 27
1:00 PM In honor of Earth Day on April 22, we are making recyclable seed pots. You will take home a seed pot that can be planted in the ground. The plant will then give off nutrients to the soil, all by the science of compost! Open to grades 3 to 6 with a parent or guardian. Registration required.

Lego League
Tuesday, April 30
6:30 PM This month’s build challenge is all about Easter-baskets with eggs, bunnies, chicks & ducks, and more. Open to ages 8 to 12 with a parent or guardian. Telephone registration required.
